 I never thought I was overweight but I didn’t like the image I saw in the mirror. It wasn’t until my mom lost 10kg on Sureslim that I had a wakeup call. She joined in September 2008 and December 2008 she reached her goal. When I saw her that December she was transformed. She looked ten years younger and was energetic and full of life. She became my inspiration.
I joined Sureslim in May 2009 and since then my life changed dramatically. I’m not saying it was easy but with the motivation and praise of Mandy, the Durbanville Sureslim team and my mom I’ve lost 25kg. I’ve learned to make delicious meals for me and my husband and to manage my weight.
I feel more energised and totally in control of my body. Sureslim helped me to make healthier food choices and to gain back my self confidence.
