Eugene lost 33kg on the SureSlim program
Eugene started with Sure Slim in August 2010 and was extremely skeptical. He is a very busy businessman and suffered from acute reflux and water retention. He was on Blood pressure meds and has irritable bowel syndrome. He loved having his bread and espresso’s daily.

When I saw my dad last year June I got a big scare because I hadn’t seen him for a few months and he really looked much bigger than I remembered. He came in laughing about having to get an extra length belt when flying down and I thought that is no laughing matter. That weekend I watched him and felt a real urgency to let him know that he needed to do something about his weight. He couldn’t even get up from the couch without rocking himself up – that scared me even more because I could see that if he carried on like this he would not be able to move in a few years and that my mom and I would have to look after him and really that is not a nice life for either party.
I spoke to my mom about it seriously and realized that she was feeling the same way. She was worried about retiring in Cape Town and not being able to enjoy the coastal lifestyle like beautiful walks along the sea and mountain. That is when we decided we cannot just leave it and we have to intervene. Luckily I have a friend Brian Havengar that had successfully used Sure Slim to lose weight and he was so happy about it. So between my mom and myself, and my husband a bit, we convinced him to go on Sure Slim and just try it out.
I have been amazed at my dad’s complete transformation in these few months. With discipline and determination he maked up his mind and really followed through to the end – it makes me very proud to be his daughter. I also give thanks for all the efforts my mom has put into helping him as it shows true love to help your partner transform like he has – it was definitely an inspirational combined effort. It is great to see him thin and full of energy, he looks much healthier and now I feel like they will enjoy their retirement at the coast, more than what my mom could have imagined!
